Maya Pletscher

“I’m constantly inspired by new things, new ways of working. I’ve experimented with embroidery, love working with fabric and also work digitally, but the constant at the moment is gouache.”



Lefki Savvidou

” I am a freelancer that makes and sells t-shirts, tote bags, handmade memo books, stickers, zines, tattoo designs and of course my artwork. I have worked with graphics mostly doing logo, flyer and brochure designs. I get most of my inspiration from skateboard and surf culture, mountain life…”

Recently MDX Illustration have been taking part in a number of projects to mark the centenary of WWI. Earlier this year students and staff produced a series of illustrations for an exhibition with the Poetry Society responding to poems from the Great War.
